At Staying Safe and Sane NZ, we believe that structural problems require structural solutions. We have moved from the research phase into the infrastructure phase, architecting the Digital Pā—a clinically-vetted, data-sovereign sanctuary designed to remain accessible even when a user’s resources are at zero.
To fulfill this mission, we are actively seeking to align with organizations that share our commitment to Sanity, Sovereignty, and Safety.
2026 Strategic Focus: Bridging the “Data Gap”
We are prioritizing high-impact collaborations that move the Sanctuary from a research-backed concept to a nationwide utility. Our immediate focus is on three key pillars:
- Pillar 1: Digital Sovereignty & Access We are seeking to whitelist the Sanctuary as a sponsored-data site (zero.govt.nz). Our goal is to ensure that every whānau in Aotearoa can access their “Digital Go-Bag” and safety tools with a $0.00 mobile balance.
- Pillar 2: Localized Community Pilots We are looking to partner with Local Boards and Community Governance to pilot the Sanctuary within high-needs regions. This includes integrating our clinical de-escalation tools into localized family harm response frameworks.
- Pillar 3: Investment & Sponsorship We are seeking Financial Partners and Philanthropic Sponsors to invest in the operational scale of Staying Safe and Sane NZ. This funding directly supports the ongoing development of our data-lite technology and ensuring the Sanctuary remains free for those who need it most.
